On Sunday, October 19th, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm we are having a Hanger Dance in Slidell at our Airport. We should have a good group of WWII veterans with partners and our parade of veterans is also invited. The event is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by Veterans Celebrate Freedom and will honor WWII veterans. Our Mayor along with a proclamation from Gov. Bobby Jindal will be read.
