After 7 inspiring years in the Twin Cities, The Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown is moving to the city of New Orleans in 2009.

There are a few reasons for the move -
1) I will have more resources and more local support from business and music/art organizations supporting events like this.
2) I live there making it 100 times easier for me to plan and create my ideal event.
3) JAZZ MUSIC & DANCE CULTURE are EVERYDAY parts of life there.

So, after arriving at 6:00 AM (on time), I arrived to a crowd of about 3,000 - 4,000 people in front of me. Whew! Then I had another 3,000 behind me. What a trip?!
